Paintball is a team game played with at least 10 people per side and is usually conducted on a specially built woodland paintball site ( paintball park or paintballing field ). Each team has a team captain and a team colour. Each team player has a paintball gun or ( marker ) for shooting the enemy with. Being hit by a paintball does sting but is not dangerous so long as all players wear safety face and head protection masks. Although there are many kinds of elaborate paintballing game scenarios, the most basic is called 'Capture the Flag'. This is where each team attacks the other whilst defending the team base camp & flag from the enemy.
