We traditionally live and work in groups. However in today's complex and competitive business environment many of us face the challenge of team based working- on projects, within sales teams, technical support or groups monitoring operational success. Many of these teams never achieve their full potential. If organisations are to compete effectively-they need committed, motivated and high performance teams. This course provides an opportunity to learn about the psychological principles behind team working and the major individual and corporate benefits derived from increased communication, creativity and performance within a team. This practical and theory blended learning course can be specifically tailored to your individual corporate learning needs. By the end of the course delegates will know how to improve their effectiveness within a team environment and be able to:

Identify the human motivations involved in effective team functioning
Understand what type of team member they are
Briefly examine transactional analysis to aid improved team communication skills
Assess the emotions and conflict in teams and how to avoid getting involve in negative team cycles
Understand how to motivate themselves and have a positive impact on other team members

The course duration is 1 day. Consisting of:

Pre-course objective setting and prep
Off site venue incorporating participative interactive classroom based learning at the beginning and end of day
Outdoor pursuits to practice skills learned, incorporating treasure hunt, paintball, raft building.
Return to classroom to review achievement against objectives-through video analysis of day.
Continued reinforcement of learning through e learning review of objectives and where appropriate new objective setting.
